Elena Tarasova
is a practitioner of Indian dance since 1987. Performer, choreographer, dance teacher with 17 years experience and everlastingly learning student and art researcher.

1994-1999 - Saint-Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts. Diploma with distinction.
1996 - established Indian Dance Group "Apsara" in Saint-Petersburg.
2008 - happened to be the only non-Indian Kuchipudi dancer participated in International Kuchipudi Dance Convention in USA.
2008 - was invited to create and teach a course on Indian classical dance art in Academy of Russian Ballet named after A. Y. Vaganova.
2009 - founded Center of Indian Culture in Saint-Petersburg.
2013 - set up the project on-line lessons of Indian dance - the dance without limits - video school of distant learning of 4 Indian dance styles: Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak for the beginners and Bollywood dance for the advanced level.
Russian and English are my working languages.
I am a holder of Guiness World Record for Kuchipudi dance.

1994-1996 Anna Vyacheslavovna Maschak (Kuchipudi)
1996-2003 I trained myself improving the dance skills without any supervision.
December 2003 - January 2004 and December 2006 - January 2007 I had a chance to practice Kuchipudi in Srinivasa Kuchipudi Art Academy in Hyderabad under the tutelage of Dr. Sobha Naidu, where I corrected the items I learnt before and learned Bho Shambho.

2008 June - Vempati Ravi Shankar - 2 weeks - Swarajathi Athana and several ballet parts for the great occasion as Kuchipudi Convention in USA, Cupertino.
